The standard, or Base Model, version of the 2nd Gen Acura NSX was introduced for the 2017 model year. The Base NSX was only built in a coupe body style, featuring a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine. This engine was part of a hybrid drivetrain that when combined with the three electric motors, generated a total of 573hp, which was sent to all four wheels through a 9 speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and Acura's Super Handling all wheel drive system. For the 2019 model year, the NSX received improvements to the suspension and all whel drive system resulting in improved driving dynamics. Although these cars were capable in incredible performance, their sales didn't meet expectations, eventually leading the NSX being discontinued in 2022.
