The Audi RS4 (B7) was introduced for the 2007 model year. The RS4 was a top of the line performance variant for the B7 Audi A4, and was available as a Sedan, Cabriolet, or 'Avant' station wagon. The RS4 featured a variety of improvements to the drivetrain and suspension, and was fitted with a 4.2L V8 engine that was paired to a 6 speed manual transmission to send drive to all four wheels via Audi's Quattro four wheel drive system. Production of the RS4 (B7) ended in 2008, but the model series would reappear in the next generation A4 as the B8 Audi RS4.
