For the 2004 model year BMW revived the 6 Series with the E63. Available in both Coupe (E63) and Convertible (E64) body styles, the E63 generation was the first 6 Series generation to feature a diesel variant. Engines offered for the E63 included inline six, V8, and V10 options. Variants included the 630i, 635d, 645Ci, 650i, and M6. Built until 2010, the E63 was replaced by the F12 BMW 6 Series.
