The BMW Z4 3.0i was a variant of the E85 BMW Z4 that was introduced for the 2003 model year. Only available in a convertible body style, the 3.0i was initially powered by a 3.0L version of BMW's M54 inline six engine, before switching to a 3.0L version of the N52 inline six engine for the 2006 model year. Both 5 speed automatic and 6 speed manual transmissions were available, with drive being sent to the rear wheels. Production of the E85 BMW Z4 3.0i lasted until 2008.
