The second generation Buick Century was introduced for the 1958 model year. The second generation Century was created by using the Buick Special's body, and pairing it with Buick's largest and most powerful engines. The second generation Century was available as a sedan, coupe, convertible, or station wagon, and also as a Riviera hardtop. The second generation Century was available with a 5.3L or 6.0L V8 engine, and was produced until 1958. The Third Generation Buick Century would not be introduced until 1973.
