The fourth generation of Buick Electra was introduced for the 1971 model year. The fourth generation Electra was only offered in the longer 225 wheelbase, and was available as a coupe, sedan, or station wagon. The fourth generation Electra was offered with a 5.7L or 7.5L V8 engine and included the notable Limited trim level. The fourth generation Electra was in production until 1976, when it was replaced by the Fifth Generation Buick Electra.
