The second generation of Buick Riviera was introduced for the 1966 model year, and was offered as a two door hardtop. The 2nd generation Riviera was fitted with a range of V8 options and featured the notable Riviera Gran Sport variant. Production of the second generation Riviera ended in 1970 and was followed by the Third Generation Buick Riviera.
