The first generation of Cadillac V-16 was introduced in 1930. Also known as the Sixteen, the V-16 was Cadillac's halo model during its production, and represented the highest levels of automotive luxury and refinement. The first generation V-16 was offered in a wide variety of body styles, with addtional coachbuilt body styles also on offer as well. The Sixteen went through two main designations during its first generation, Series 452, and for 1936, Series 90. Production of the first generation V-16 ended in 1937, and was replaced by the Second Generation Cadillac V-16.
