Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 - C6 (2009 to 2013)

The Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 was a high performance variant of the C6 Corvette that debuted for the 2009 model year. The ZR-1 was created to be the C6 Corvette's top offering, featuring a supercharged 6.2L V8 engine. Only available in a coupe body style, the ZR-1 was designed for great speeds, and as such was equipped with improved suspension, brakes, and various aerodynamic upgrades. In addition to these upgrades, the ZR-1 used many carbon fiber pieces to help lower weight. The supercharged engine, which was visible from outside of the car due to a clear polycarbonate window in the hood, generated 638hp, which drove the rear wheels through a 6 speed manual gearbox. A total of 4,684 examples of the C6 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 were built before production ended in 2013.
