The Chevrolet Stylemaster was introduced for the 1946 model year. The Stylemaster was Chevrolet's entry level offering after the end of WW2, and was available as a two or four door sedan, coupe, or sedan delivery. These cars featured little trim or luxuries, reflecting its base model status. Drive for these cars came from a 3.5L inline six engine coupled to a 3 speed manual transmission sending drive to the rear wheels. The Stylemaster was produced until 1948, when it was replaced by the Chevrolet Special.
