The Ford Custom was a series of cars introduced for the 1957 model year. The first generation of Custom was offered in 'Custom' and 'Custom 300' trim levels, with the 300 representing the higher offering. A wide range of body styles including sedan, coupe, and station wagon (Ranch Wagon) were available, as was a choice of an inline six or V8 engine. For 1959, only the Custom 300 was offered, and it was not the lowest placed full-size model. Production of the first generation Custom lasted until 1959, with the Second Generation Ford Custom introduced for 1964.
