The fourth generation of Ford Econoline debuted for the 1992 model year. The fourth generation Econoline was offered in passenger and cargo van variants, as well as cutaway chassis for a variety of uses. Like the F-Series, the Econoline was offered in 1/2, 3/4, and 1 ton chassis, which were known as the 150, 250, and 350. Larger variants known as the 450 and 550 were also available. A wide range of V8 engine options were fitted to the fourth generation, as well as inline six, V6, and V10 units. Production of passenger and cargo vans ended in 2015, with these models being replaced by the Ford Transit. Although the vans were no longer in production, the cutaway cab and a stripped chassis are still sold.
