The Ford GT Heritage Edition was a limited edition variant of the First Generation Ford GT. The GT was painted in the classic and instantly recognizable blue and orange Gulf Oil racing team colors. The livery was applied to the 2006 GT as an homage to the Le Mans-winning cars of 1968-69. Below the paint scheme is the expected mid-rear engine supercharged V8 (5.4L) mated to a six-speed manual transmission sending 550hp to the rear wheels. Only 343 examples were created for the 1st Gen GT, making them some of the most desirable Ford GT cars.
