Although the Standard, Long, and Supercab wheelbase options remained, their respective lengths grew. Four wheel drive was optional alongside standard rear wheel drive. While public sales of the third generation Ranger ended in 2011, the model was still sold available as a fleet vehicle until 2012. The Ranger name was put on haitus in North America until 2019, when the Fourth Generation Ford Ranger debuted.
