The Ford Shelby Mustang GT-H was a limited edition variant of the S-197 I Shelby Mustang. Created to evoke the Shelby Mustang GT350H, the GT-H was developed in collaboration with Hertz to create special edition Mustangs that could be rented at Hertz locations. These cars were powered by a 4.6L naturally aspirated V8 that had an output of 319hp that drove the rear wheels via manual or automatic transmission options. A total of 1,000 examples were built, with 500 coupes built for 2006, and 500 convertibles built for 2007.
