The eighth generation of Jaguar XJ was introduced for the 2011 model year. Known as the XJ351, the eighth generation of XJ featured a drastic styling change, but was still based on the previous XJ350 platform. The XJ351 was offered with V6 or V8 engine options, and features a top of the range performance XJR variant.
