Introduced for the 1931 model year, the Series 345 was the fourth evolution of the LaSalle. The Series 345 was named for its 345 cubic inch (5.7L) engine, and was offered in a two wheelbase lengths. The namesake 345 engine was V8 unit that generated 115hp that was sent to the rear wheels via a 3 speed manual transmission. These cars were offered in a range of open and closed body styles, including tourer, sedan, convertible, and roadster. Small exterior and interior updates over the course of production resulted in each model year given its own designation: 345A (1931), 345B (1932), and 345C (1933). Production of the LaSalle Series 345 lasted until 1933, when it was replaced by the LaSalle Series 50.
