The Mercedes-Benz CL600 was a variant of the C216 CL-Class that was introduced for the 2007 model year. The CL 600 was a potent luxury coupe that featured Mercedes' M275 E55 engine. This 5.5L V12 powerplant generated 510hp and 612 lb ft of torque, which it sent to the rear wheels via a 5 speed automatic transmission. Production of the Mercedes-Benz CL600 ended in 2014, when Mercedes decided the return to the CL-Class, which were S-Class based coupes, to the S-Class Coupe designation, starting with the C217 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupes.
