The Mercedes-Benz S320, known as the 300SE before 1993, was a variant of the W140 S-Class Sedan that debuted for the 1994 model year. The S320 was offered on the standard and long wheel base length W140 platform and was powered by Mercedes' M104 E32 engine. This 3.2L inline six engine generated 230hp which it sent to the rear wheels manual and automatic transmission options. Sales of the W140 S320 ended in 1999, although the model series continued life in the next generation S-Class as the W220 Mercedes-Benz S320.
