The Oldsmobile Starfire was a series of cars that debuted for the 1961 model year. Originally, the Starfire name was used as part of the Oldsmobile 98, but from 1961, it was an standalone model. Two generations of Starfire were built, the 1st Gen (1961-1966), which was available as a coupe or convertible, and the 2nd Gen (1975-1980), which was only offered as a coupe.
