The Packard Twelve was a series of full size luxury cars. The Twelve was introduced in 1933, and was the successor to the Packard Twin Six. This new model was offered on a short or long wheelbase, and was available in a wide range of body styles including sedan, sedan limousine, coupe roadster, and formal sedan. Coachbuilding companies Dietrich and LeBaron offered various coachbuilt bodies for the Twelve, as well as the bodywork offered by Packard. From 1933 until 1934, a 7.3L V12 engine was fitted to the Twelve. Starting in 1935 until the end of production, a 7.8L V12 was used. Production of the Packard Twelve ended in 1939.
