The first generation of Porsche Cayenne debuted for the 2003 model year. The Cayenne was the first SUV offering from Porsche, featuring a range of front-mounted V6 and naturally aspirated or turbocharged V8 engines. Regardless of the engine, all Cayennes are four wheel drive cars. The first generation of Cayenne was built in two evolutions, the 955 (2003-2006) and the 957 (2008-2010).
