The WRX STi was a high performance variant of the VA Subaru WRX. The WRX STi was formerly part of the Subaru Impreza family, but for the 2015 model year, the WRX became its own model, and the STi, its more focused performance variant. These cars were only offered in a four door sedan body style featuring full time all wheel drive. The STi was powered by a turbocharged 2.5L flat four boxer engine (2.0L in Japan) paired to a 6 speed manual transmission. A wide range of variants were built including the Base Model, Launch Edition, Hyper Blue, Type UK Final Edition, Type RA, S209, and EJ25 Final Edition. Production of the VA Subaru WRX STi ended in 2021.
