Unveiled in 2010 for its fifth generation, the Toyota Four Runner (4Runner) has become a staple in the line of rugged off-road vehicles from the Japanese manufacturer. By 2015 the vehicle was available in 4 different variants, the SR5, Trail, Limited, and the Pro. The Pro variant was the most rugged of the series featuring a number of mechanical systems to aid with treacherous road conditions, such as the Downhill Assist Control (DAC) and Crawl Control (CRAWL). This generation 4 Runner was powered by a 2.7L inline four or 4.0L V6 engine. In 2014 the 4Runner was given an update inside and out and is now presented with the Optitron instrument panel and exterior modifications.
