The third generation of the Tundra was released in 2022, succeeding the second generation and featuring just two cab styles and four full-size doors. The new truck is distinctive due to its two available powertrains: a 3.4L Twin-Turbo V6 (V35A-FTS) or a hybrid version of the same engine coupled to an electric motor producing a combined 437hp. Toyota created a ten-speed automatic transmission to transmit the power to the wheels. Additionally, the truck comes in seven different trim levels.
