The first generation Triumph Bonneville was introduced in 1959. It was initially presented with the T120 model and later evolved to the T140. Its engine also evolved from a 649cc parallel-twin to a 744cc with twin carburetors and a sporty character that allowed it to excel both on the road and in competitions. Its name comes from the Bonneville Salt Flats in the US, famous for speed records. Over the years, it evolved in technical and aesthetic details, but always maintained its classic style, streamlined tank, and characteristic chrome. The 1st Gen Triumph Bonneville was produced until 1983 and was not until 2001 that the 2nd Gen Bonneville was presented.
