The Willys MB, also known as the Willys Jeep, was an off-road 4x4 military vehicle used by allied forces during WW2. The Willys MB was built to a standard design, and was also produced by Ford as the GPW, using the same blueprints that were produced by Willys for the MB. The MB was in production until 1945 in North America, but it continued to be built in other markets. A civilian version known as the Jeep CJ began to make its way into the market starting in 1945.
