We found this perfectly maintained early Eighties model at the shop of a top Porsche mechanic, who had kept it as his personal car. Honestly, we were quite surprised that this gentleman agreed to part with it, given the devotion with which he’d cared for it over many years.
In fact, the car was in such fantastic mechanical shape that The 911 Company’s Chief Engineer decided to repaint it in its original Guards Red color. He insisted that the outside needed to match the inside’s perfection. As we always do, we treated it to a top-quality “glass-out” paint job, ensuring a like-new glossy sheen.
Once the outside was spotless, we realized that the two front seats could benefit from a renovation. So, we entrusted our master upholsterer with the job of faithfully refurbishing the front interior seats in new black leather. To finish off the job, we refinished the wheels and added new tires, in order to make the most of its powerful and pristine engine.
The result is a user-friendly Porsche that can now also be described as a veritable head-turner, stunning inside and out. Its fully functional air conditioning has been recently serviced and updated, as have the sunroof and power windows. Simply put, everything works on this car. And, everything begs to be used.
It comes with a clean bill of health, as a CarFax check on the vehicle confirms no indications of any accidents on its record. This car is a great investment for someone who is just launching a car collection or for a veteran collector who wants a fantastic model to use on a daily basis.
Inviting, entry-level Porsches in such immaculate shape are hard to find. But, they are very, very easy to drive. We suggest that interested buyers pay us a quick visit. This one will go fast.
