Bugatti introduced their Atalante bodied Base Type 57 in 1935. Designed by Jean Bugatti, the Type 57 Atalante was a two door, two seat coupe, whose styling was heavily influenced by the famous Type 57 Aerolithe/Atlantic cars. Atalante bodied Type 57 cars are some of the most desirable examples of the Type 57, with less than 20 built.
