Chevrolet Deluxe(1949 to 1952)

The Chevrolet Deluxe was introduced for the 1949 model year. Built on the GM 'A' body alongside its lower priced sibling, the Chevrolet Special, the Deluxe was a series of high end sedans, coupes, convertibles, and station wagons that represented Chevrolet's top offerings at the time. Two main body styles were available: Fleetline, which were sleek two or four door sedans, and Styleline, which were the notchback and estate offerings. The Deluxe was initially fitted with a 3.5L inline six engine, but for 1950-1952, a 3.9L inline six was available as an option. Chevrolet produced the Deluxe until 1952, when it replaced the model with the Chevrolet 210.
