The first generation of the Pontiac Firebird lasted from 1967 to 1969. These cars gained popularity and collectability over the years because they were part of the muscle car wars in the 1960s. Today, they are also a favorite of hot rodders. It's not uncommon to find blowers peaking out of custom-cut hoods, aggressive suspension modifications, and even modern fuel-injected engines.
