The displacement was increased in 2002 to 3.6 L and power received an increase to 320 PS (235 kW; 315 hp). Approximately 85,150 Carrera 996&#39;s were produced for model years 1998 through 2004, with 46,315 being the&nbsp;coup&eacute; version (hardtops), and 38,835 being cabriolets (convertibles).
