The third generation of Mercury Montclair was offered for the 1964 model year. The third generation Montclair was offered as a sedan, two or four door hardtop, and fastback coupe. A performance version known as the Mercury Marauder was also introduced. Production of the third generation Montclair only took place in 1964, and the model was replaced by the Fourth Generation Mercury Montclair.
