The open top version of the Alfa Romeo 4C was introduced for the 2015 model year, a year after the 4C Coupe. Known as the 4C Spider, this series of lightweight cars was powered by a turbocharged 1.75L inline four engine. This engine generated 237hp, which it sent to the rear wheels via a 6 speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider was built until 2020, when the model was discontinued.
