The AMC Javelin SST was a variant of the 1st Gen Javelin that debuted for the 1968 model year. The SST, which stood for Super Sports Touring, was the premuim offering for the Javelin, although it was available with all of the engines of the standard Javelin. These cars were available with manual or automatic transmissions, and were in production until 1970.
