The Automatic equipped Aston Martin DBS Coupe was a variant of the 2nd Gen DBS that debuted for the 2008 model year. These coupes were fitted with Aston Martin's AM11 engine, which was a 5.9L V12 that generated an output of 510hp. Drive from the engine was sent to the rear wheels via a 6 speed automatic transmission known as the Touchtronic II. Aston Martin built the Automatic DBS Coupe until 2012, making a total of 1,550 examples.
