Austin-Healey was a UK-based auto manufacturer which started operation in 1952 as a joint venture between Donald Healey Motor Company and British Motor Corporation. Austin-Healey became an industry leader in the burgeoning amateur and later professional racing circuit, creating iconic model designs like the Austin-Healey 100, Austin-Healey 100-6, and Austin-Healey Sprite. Built from 1959 to 1967, the famous Austin-Healey 3000 model could be driven at 120 mph and had a straight-six engine. The 3000 also came with an Austin Westminster-sourced four-speed transmission with optional overdrive. Austin-Healey cars were produced until 1972 when the 20-year agreement between Healey and Austin came to an end. Some replicas can be found with later model years.
