The Bentley 6½ Litre was a model introduced in 1926. The 6½ Litre was sold as a rolling chassis to be bodied to the owner's desires by a coachbuilder. One of the more well known early Bentley's the 6½ Litre was fitted with a 6.5L inline six engine. A later performance variant known as the Speed Six would prove a highly successful racing car, winning Le Mans in 1929 and 1930.
