In 2011, BMW introduced the performance focused 1M. Part of the E8x BMW 1 Series, the 1M was offered with a 3.0L turbocharged inline six engine and a Getrag 6-speed manual transmission. Although the 1M was created using existing BMW components, the product of those parts is one of the most desirable BMWs ever made. Add this desirability to limited production (6,309 were built worldwide) and you have a truly special combination.
