The first generation of Buick Wildcat was introduced for the 1963 model year. Originally a variant of the Buick Invicta, the Wildcat became its own model. The first generation Wildcat was available with a 6.6L or 7.0L V8 engine, and was offered as a coupe, sedan, or convertible. The first generation Wildcat was built until 1964 and was replaced by the Second Generation Buick Wildcat.
