The second generation of Cadillac Sixty Special was introduced for the 1942 model year. This updated generation of Sixty Special saw sleeker styling, as well as increased interior space. The second generation Sixty Special was available as a four door sedan, and was fitted with a 5.7L V8 engine. Production of the 2nd gen Sixty Special would continue until 1947, when it was replaced by the Third Generation Cadillac Sixty Special.
