The seventh generation Cadillac Sixty Special was introduced for the 1959 model year. The 7th gen Sixty Special was one of the most distinctive iterations of the Sixty Special. This updated generation featured side mounted decorative air scoops, as well as a chromed rear taillight pods, making it stand apart from other Cadillac models. The seventh generation Sixty Special was available as a 6.4L V8 powered four door sedan, and was in production until 1960, when it was replaced by the Eighth Generation Cadillac Sixty Special.
