The second generation Chevrolet Biscayne debuted for the 1959 model year, and was offered in two door sedan, four door sedan, and station wagon body styles. These rear wheel drive cars were the lowest priced full-size offering from Chevrolet, and were fitted with a 235ci inline six engine, although a wide range of V8 options was available. Production of the 2nd generation continued until 1960, when it was replaced by the Third Generation Chevrolet Biscayne.
