The second generation of Chevrolet Chevy II debuted for the 1966 model year. The second generation Chevy II recieved updated, more angular styling, and was available as a two door sedan, four door sedan, two door hardtop, or four door convertible. These rear wheel drive cars were available in a range of trim levels, including the base 100 Series, premium Nova 400 Series, and Super Sport (SS). A standard 2.5L inline four engine was used, and a range of inline six and V8 units were optional. Production of the second generation Chevy II ended in 1967, when the Third Generation Chevrolet Chevy II debuted.
