The Chevy Task Force series was a line of trucks available in 1955. They were the successor to the "Advance Design" series. The 3200 is a 1/2 ton truck that came in a two-door body style with a longer bed (123.25-inch wheelbase) compared to the 3100. 1957 and '58 came in body style changes featuring a "Fleetside" bed, and light-duty trucks were now called "Apache." Customers could opt for a V8 or inline six-cylinder engine. The drivetrain was a front-engine rear-wheel drive layout. The truck could also be ordered with four-wheel drive. The Task Force line was available until 1959 when it was replaced by the first generation of the C/K Series of trucks.
