The Chevrolet TrailBlazer was a series of SUVs introduced for the 2001 model year. Previously, the TrailBlazer name had been used for a trim level offered on the Chevrolet S-10 Blazer, but from 2001 onwards, it was an independent model available exclusively as a four door, mid-size SUV. As well as the standard 4.2L inline six engine, a selection of V8 options was also available. Both rear wheel drive and all wheel drive variants were offered for the TrailBlazer, which was produced until 2008, and sold until 2009. The TrailBlazer was replaced by the Chevrolet Traverse. For the 2021 model year, Chevrolet re-introduced the Trailblazer as a crossover SUV.
