The Chrysler 300L was introduced for the 1965 model year, and was the eleventh and final variant of the 300 Letter Series. The 300L was available as a two door Hardtop or Convertible, and was very similar to the 300 Non-Letter Series offerings of the same year. Every 300L option was available on the Non-Letter 300, making the body and interior trim the only exclusive factor for the 300L. Only one 6.8L (413ci) 'Wedge' V8 engine option was available for the 300L, which was only available for the 1965 model year. After the 300L, Chrysler discontinued the 300 Letter-Series.
