The third and final generation of Chrysler 300 Non-Letter Series was introduced for the 1969 model year. Third generation Non-Letter cars were offered as two or four door hardtops, or two door convertibles. Two engines were available: a 7.2L 'Wedge' V8, or a 7.2L 'TNT' V8 unit. The most notabe third generation variant was the high performance 300 Hurst. Production of the third generation 300 convertible ended in 1970, but the hardtops remained in production until 1971.
