The first generation Chrysler Cordoba was introduced for the 1975 model year. The Cordoba was a mid-sized personal luxury car, available exclusively as a two door sedan. Over the course of production, the first generation Cordoba was fitted with a choice of three V8 engines (5.2L, 5.9L, 6.6L), and featured the notable "300" option package which was only available during 1979. The first generation Cordoba was built until 1979, when the Second Generation Chrysler Cordoba was introduced.
