The Citroën Xsara was a series of compact cars that were introduced for the 1998 model year. The Xsara was available in sedan, coupe, and station wagon (referred to by Citroën as Break) body styles. These cars were powered by a wide range of gasoline and diesel engines that drove the front wheels via manual and automatic transmission options. Production of the Citroën Xsara lasted until 2006, when it was replaced by the Citroën C4.
